Front Gate/Park Patrol

The front gate and patrol crew are on the grounds 24/7. Although the Front Gate “locks” at midnight, registered guests are permitted to enter the grounds after midnight to go back to their sites. Camper arrivals after midnight are allowed to park in the front lot (no hook-ups) until the office re-opens.

Camp Store

Pirateland Family Camping Resort has a fully stocked Camp Store to provide you with all of  the essentials you and your family will need during your stay. The Camp Store also has many gift and souvenir options for beach lovers, beach supplies, apparel, all fishing necessities, groceries, camping supplies, toys, and MUCH MORE! Operating hours vary. Our Camp store also offers an on-site ATM

Front Office, Guest Services, & Trailer Sales

The Front Office is the hub for our administrative offices. The front desk crew can help with all of our guests’ registration and reservation needs. They also handle propane sales, fishing licenses, and any help you may need during your stay. Our Guest Service crew provides help setting up show reservations and golf tee times. We also have some Myrtle Beach area attraction tickets for sale. The Trailer Sales desk (at guest services) provides information about the sales list and annual lease sites.

Bathhouses

We have eight climate controlled bathhouses located in various areas of the campground with toilets and showers. The bathhouses located in the beach area also have an outdoor shower for rinsing off sand. There is a handicap accessible room located at Bathhouse #8 that contains a toilet and shower. Please see the Front Desk for the access code. Some bathhouses close during the off-season. We have remodeled 7 out of 8 of the bathhouses over the past few years. BH #3 along PirateLand Trail South (near sites 70s-100s) was removed in January of 2023 and that area will become a campsite. The next closest beach area bathhouse is #4 near beach sites in the 100s to 200s.

The Outdoor Chapel

Tucked away along PirateLand Trail South on the lake and shaded by beautiful oak trees, the Chapel is a great location for small weddings. There is a stage and plenty of bench seating. Use of the area is free for guests and may be reserved (based on availability).

Camp Ministry

We understand how important weekly church attendance can be to our visitors. We are proud to offer regular Sunday morning services at our beautiful outdoor chapel. All of our services are non-denominational. In the case of inclement weather service is held in Pirate’s Cove or the Rec. Room. On Easter Sunday we also have a sunrise service on the beach. Our campground Chaplain is Marty Williams.
